I’ve used Knight Grindrod on two occasions and have been very happy with the professional service provided. The RICS Homebuyers report is well set out , very thorough, easy to follow, identifying risks in a traffic light system. The report also provides a valuation and rebuilding costs. Just what I needed for purchasing my forever home. I would highly recommend this organisation.
As a landlord I have purchased a number of properties and commissioned several residential surveys. The survey undertaken by Knight Grindrod was by far the best. The service was professional and efficient, and the report itself was excellent – easy to understand and a detailed account of current and potential issues with the property, including advice on which of these needed to be addressed and how to address them. My son works away and needed an independent market valuation for a remortgage, so dad got the job of arranging it quickly!
I called on the 25th Sept, the surveyor attended on the 1st Oct and the completed paperwork was with my son and his mortgage advisor by the 4th October. A very efficient service that was also the least expensive and the fastest when compared to all of the quotes that I also received.
